The series is coming to North Cyprus this April in partnership with PokerGO and the Super High Roller Series.
Triton Poker Series North Cyprus – Key Details
The Triton Poker Series will run from April 2-7 at the Merit Royal Hotel Casino and Spa, featuring four events played in No-Limit Hold’em and Short Deck formats. Buy-ins range from $50,000 all the way up to $125,000.
The series last held a stop in London in 2019, with Justin Bonomo being crowned as the Triton Main Event winner after outclassing a field of 108 entries. For his victory, the American poker pro turned his £100,000 ($125,900) investment into a massive $3,257,400 payday.
In 2020, Triton Poker was forced to cancel multiple stops scheduled for the year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The series was supposed to run two events in Russia and Bali earlier this year but they had been postponed.
The Triton Poker Series in North Cyprus will run in conjunction with the Super High Roller Series which brings an additional 10 events to the schedule. The series takes place from April 2-15 and culminates in the $250,000 Super High Roller Bowl which will run on April 13. The schedule includes two Short Deck and three Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments.
Triton Poker will stream the action on Twitch and YouTube.
GGPoker New Triton Poker Partner
This year, Triton Poker is also joining forces with another prominent brand in the poker arena – GGPoker – one of the world’s leading online poker sites.
Commenting on the new partnership, GGPoker’s Director of Sponsorships & Live Events John Scanlon said Triton Poker is a perfect partner for GGPoker as it shares the same goals with the site in terms of introducing the game to the masses through high-quality offerings. Scanlon also recognized Triton Poker’s top-tier production and the high level of engagement that its exclusive events are receiving from poker players and fans across the globe.
