The media that focuses on South America will make good use of PokerStars pro Jose “Nacho” Barbero who is from Argentina and is clearly very popular in the region. Barbero is arguably the most well-known poker pro from South America. Daniel Negreanu, who many claim to be one of the best current poker players, is also going to be a focused player in the advertisements. A great thing about this campaign is that it focuses on the common player much more than the pro. It makes every player feel like they are the best player out there, which is a great way to attract new players.Places like China and India also come into focus as they are areas whose interest in poker is growing steadily. It is a great move by PokerStars as they look to expand their domination on the market. Since advertising and playing online poker in the US has become more and more difficult, PokerStars has had to look elsewhere to gain new members. By focusing on Asia and South America, they are expanding their name even more. Being the best is not easy and is not cheap, but PokerStars puts in the extra effort and cash to stay at the top.
