However, there is still a lot of online poker action taking place.
PokerStars, the biggest online poker room in the world is running its 50/50 Series from June 13 till June 30. The 50/50 series gets its name from the fact that the online poker giant will run 50 poker tournaments where the buy-in is fixed at $50. Poker players will have a crack at a combined prize pool of $7.5 million during the next two and a half weeks. This poker series will run from Monday to Thursday during this period.
The affordable $50 buy-in makes the 50/50 series available for most poker players and gives them a crack at a decent payout.
