GGPoker has announced a new tournament series designed for small-stakes players, the “Mini MILLION$“.
Running from October 2-17, the festival features dozens of events with low buy-ins but huge guarantees, giving players the chance to win big and become online poker champions for just a small investment.
Overall, the Mini MILLION$ will award a massive $5 million guarantee and it is by far GGPoker’s biggest low-stakes tournament series.
Key Events
There’s a “Mini” attached to the name of the series, but the massive guarantees on offer for very affordable entry fees show us there’s nothing mini about the festival, according to GGPoker’s Global Head Sarne Lightman.
Players can enter the series for as low as $1, and the highest buy-in on the schedule is still pretty much affordable at $11. With these price points, all players, regardless of their strategy and bankroll, can join in on the action.
The festival opens with a bang on October 2 with 18 events, one of which is the mini Global MILLION$ tournament which features a buy-in of only $5 but comes with a huge $300,000 guarantee! The tournament has numerous starting flights, and the final action is scheduled for October 10.
If you’re a fan of poker games such as Pot-Limit Omaha, there’s an exciting event designed for you as well – the Omaholic Mini Bounty MILLION$, a multi-flight PLO bounty tournament that features a buy-in of $5.25 and $100,000 in guarantees. The event also runs from October 2-10.
Another key event to watch for is the Sunday Hundred Grand which has an entry fee of $11 and offers $101,000 in guaranteed prize money. The event takes place every Sunday throughout the series – October 2, 9, and 16.
$1M GTD Mystery Bounty
The main highlight of the series is easily the Mystery Bounty which costs just $10.50 to enter but awards a massive $1 million in guaranteed prize pool, making it the largest-guaranteed tournament on the schedule.
The $10.50 buy-in Mystery Bounty event is expected to attract a massive turnout given the increasing popularity of the format. It will be played as a standard tournament until Day 2 when the mystery bounty prizes will be awarded to players eliminated from the tournament. Players may enter via multiple Day 1 flights which get underway on October 6. A winner will be crowned on October 17.
The full schedule of the Mini MILLION$ series is available on the GGPoker website.
