In December we reported that poker pro Jonathan Duhamel had his house broken in to and robbed, while he was home. If that was not bad enough, one of the perpetrators was actually Duhamel’s former girlfriend. All of the people involved were quickly found out and Canadian authorities dealt with them swiftly and justly. The only problem that remained was that some of the possessions and cash that were taken were not discovered immediately, and one of Duhamel’s most prized possessions, his WSOP bracelet was still missing up until a little earlier this week.Where was the bracelet found, you ask? It was found in a dumpster and the way it was found shows that Jonathan must really have luck on his side. In close proximity to the Ville-Marie Tunnel in Montreal a group of street cleaners were doing their usual work and while cleaning a trash dumpster one of the workers noticed that a particularly shiny object fell down to the ground in front of him. As you would suspect the man was curious so he picked it up to further investigate it, and in no time he realized that this was in fact the WSOP bracelet that had been taken over a month ago.Shortly after finding the bracelet, Duhamel’s manager was made aware of the find and his possession will be back in the right hands soon enough. Duhamel is only 24 years old, yet he is one of the best poker players around today. Even after being violently robbed, he went down to Australia to play in the Aussie Millions and came home with a fairly sizeable paycheck, showing that not many things can distract him from his game. At the end of the day it is nice to that his property is going to be returned and this whole situation is taking one step closer to being resolved.
