Obrestad joined Lock Poker just says after she signed with Poker Royalty, an agency that represents poker players worldwide.Previously, Obrestad had worked with two other poker sites. Her first sponsorship arrangement had been with Betfair, before she moved to Full Tilt Poker in 2010. Of course, Obrestad had been unable to play at Full Tilt since the site stopped operating last summer.Obrestad’s career began with one of the more well-known success stories in the poker world. The Norwegian poker pro began playing online poker when she was just 15 years old. According to her, she never deposited money into an online poker account; instead, she won a small amount of money through freerolls, and then began building a bankroll from there. In time, she won hundreds of thousands of dollars even before she was old enough to step into a live casino.
