Americas Cardroom (ACR) will host three massive progressive knockout (PKO) tournaments as part of its “Thanksgiving Bountyful Weekend“!
The series runs from November 24-27 with $850,000 in combined guarantees up for grabs. To spice things up, several ACR ambassadors will join in on the action, and knocking them out comes with some extra cash!
ACR Bountyful Weekend Guarantees $850,000
To make sure players of all bankrolls get the chance to win a share of the huge prizes on offer, ACR is splitting the tournaments into three buy-ins, with the lowest set at $16.50 ($100K GTD), followed by $55 ($250K GTD), and then $215 ($500K GTD).
All in all, players will compete for $850,000 in total guarantees across four days of PKO action. Each tournament features multiple flights kicking off on November 24, with Day 2 scheduled for November 27.
The series also comes with an exciting feature – ACR Team Pros will take part in the tournaments and each of them will carry double bounty payouts on their head. That means you’ll earn double the bounty for knocking out any of them. So how does it work?
Earn Double the Bounty by Knocking Out an ACR Team Pro
In regular PKO tournaments, when you eliminate an opponent, half of their bounty goes directly to your pocket while the other half is added to your own bounty. However, in ACR’s upcoming PKO tourneys, if you send any of the ACR Team Pros to the rail, you get to win double the bounty you would normally earn in PKO tournaments.
For instance, if you knock out an ACR Team Pro with a $5,000 bounty, you get paid $5,000, and a separate $2,500 goes to your own bounty. The beauty about PKO tournaments is that you get to keep all of the bounties you’ve earned along the way whether or not you end up finishing in the money.
With ACR’s Thanksgiving Bountyful Weekend, you’re in with the chance to earn extra cash by eliminating an ACR Team Pro. And take note, there’s no limit to the amount of bounty you can potentially win, as ACR will pay you regardless of the amount – whether it’s $200 or $200,000. Be reminded though that you will only receive the bounty around an hour after the conclusion of the tournament.
