The Venom is back! Americas Cardroom (ACR) is hosting a new edition of its biggest tournament, awarding another $10 million in guaranteed prizes. The tournament runs from January 26 to February 8, 2023, and has a buy-in of $2,650.
How to Enter The Venom
There are multiple ways for players to enter the tournament. They may qualify via direct buy-in which will cost them $2,650. Those who are on a budget may also enter through the Venom On-Demand Step Satellites for as low as $0.10. These satellites are available 24/7.
Another option to get in is via Blitz Satellites which offer a faster way for players to secure a Venom seat. They work like regular satellites, but the only exception is that you don’t need to reach the final table or win the tournament to advance to the next stage. All you need to do to survive is to earn 5,000 chips. The Blitz Satellites will award MEGA Satellite tickets for as little as $0.11 and run 24/7.
You can also enter The Venom for free via the Venom Fever promotion. ACR is giving away a total of 948 Venom seats through this route for a total value of $2.5 million. You have until February 5 to grab one of those seats.
ACR has introduced exciting changes to the tournament to make the experience even better for players, such as hosting more MEGA satellites and introducing shorter Day 1 flights.
The Venom features a total of five starting flights running from January 26 to February 5. The tournament plays down to a winner on Day 4, February 28. Americas Cardroom will be hoping this time the tournament will match its $10m Gtd Prize Pool after falling short in 2021 for their Venom V promotion.
The Dream Tournament
February will be a busy month for ACR as it will also host a $100,000-guaranteed PKO tournament named “The Dream Tournament”. It costs just $2.50 to enter and gets underway on February 5. With this affordable buy-in, players of all levels may take a shot, with satellites also available for as little as $0.11. More than 1,170 players are guaranteed to take home some cash.
The tournament features 22 Day 1 flights and on top of that, ACR will be running two bonus tournaments during Day 2, with buy-ins of $2.50 and $16.50. These extra tournaments come with $15K and $75K in guarantees respectively and will take place on February 26.
