The official schedule for the 2020 Irish Poker Masters Online has just been released. The tournament will run on partypoker from December 4 to 16, featuring an action-packed schedule of 21 events. Irish Poker Masters has traditionally been held as a live event, but organizers decided to turn it into an online tournament due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The schedule features a variety of formats, including PLO, PKO, 7-Max, Turbo, Heads-Up, Deepstack and more. The festival will kick off with The Opener, a two-day PKO tournament which has a buy-in of €530, and guarantees €250,000. Another event taking place on the first day of the series is a €162 buy-in, €25K GTD 7-Max Turbo.
The series will culminate in the €1,100 buy-in Main Event which will see players compete for a huge €1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. The tournament’s structure is in line with partypoker’s goal to level the playing field for all players.
There are only two starting flights available, and players are allowed to late register only until the 9th level. The event features 200,000 in starting chips, played in 25-minute levels. The Main Event will be played as a single re-entry tournament.
The two Day 1s will take place on December 6 and 13 respectively. Surviving players will convene for Day 2 on December 14 to play down to a winner.
Players with limited bankroll also get the opportunity to win their way into the Main Event for a fraction of the price. Plenty of satellites will run throughout the tournament, including phased satellites which players can enter for as low as €0.01.
These phased satellites will feed into the Mega satellites which will run on December 6 and December 13, awarding 50 Main Event seats. If you want a shorter route to winning a Main Event ticket, you can do so by directly buying into the final phase for €109.
Other Exciting Events
The schedule also includes a €100K GTD Mini Main Event, which costs just €109 to enter. It also has two starting flights running on December 14 and 15. The event will crown a winner on December 16.
High stakes players will be interested in the €5,200 buy-in Super High Roller which is scheduled to take place on December 15, and will give away €200,000 in guaranteed prize money. The full schedule of the 2020 Irish Poker Masters Online can be found at the partypoker website.
