Breeze Zuckerman, who is an up and coming female poker player claims that Carbon Poker has yet to pay her prize money from an event in November. Zuckerman is well-known for being the top placing woman in this past WSOP, finishing just shy of $60,000. When she contacted Carbon to figure out what was going on, they simply replied by saying there is a delay with withdrawals currently and that she will have to wait for a minimum of 8 weeks. This is very confusing to most as 8 weeks is supposed to be the absolute maximum a player is liable to wait for their money, according to Carbon. The extra fee that is incurred by Carbon Poker players upon cash withdrawal, which is very uncommon from a poker operator, makes the fact that there is a delay that much more inconvenient. Especially when they see players from other online poker sites able to cash out up to two times in the 8 weeks it is currently taking Zuckerman to cash out once. There is a lot of speculation as to what exactly is going on over at Carbon Poker, with many people labeling the delays “suspicious”, especially in the post-Black Friday world we now live in. So many times we have seen a poker site exist one day and be shut down the next. We pray that this speculation remains as such, but it will continue to circulate until Carbon offers a press release with an explanation. This bad press will not help them and it is in their best interest to alleviate it as much as possible before it hurts them. Sites like PartyPoker and Everest Poker are two sites that rarely have issues when it comes to payment, which makes one wonder why Carbon cannot simply follow their lead.
