888poker is joining forces with The Festival for an online edition of the popular series.
The Festival Online takes place from July 10-31 and features over $720,000 in guaranteed prize money spread across 21 events.
All events are scheduled to run on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, which are considered the busiest days for online tournament players. The line-up includes four events where players will compete for six-figure prize pools.
The opening day is already action-packed, with three events running, the first of which carries a huge $100,000 guarantee. The entire schedule is mainly made up of low-stakes and mid-stakes events, culminating in the Main Event which kicks off on July 31.
Low-Stakes Events
Players with limited bankroll may take a shot at several low-stakes events on the schedule, starting with the $33 buy-in, $5,000 GTD The Festival Online Snap which takes place on July 12.
Multiple events in the low-stakes category offer $10,000 in guarantees, including the $55 buy-in The Festival Online Texas Deepstack (July 12), $44 buy-in The Festival Online 6-Max Turbo PKO and $22 buy-in The Festival Online Texas Lowroller.
Mid-Stakes Events
Those on the hunt for bigger prizes should set their eyes on the schedule’s mid-stakes tournaments which feature guarantees of up to six figures. Players can choose from events with buy-ins starting at $109.
Among events players shouldn’t miss are the following: $109 The Festival Online Opening Event NLH (July 10), $109 The Festival Online Texas Progressive PKO (July 17) and $109 The Festival Online Texas 8-Max (July 24). All of these events come with a $100,000 guarantee.
The main highlight of the series is easily the Main Event which costs $215 to enter, with $150,000 in guaranteed prize pool up for grabs, but players can get in for much cheaper via satellites running on 888poker.
Players will battle it out until a final table is reached on July 31. The finalists will then return on August 1 for the finale which will be live-streamed on 888poker’s Twitch channel.
The schedule also includes high-roller events, such as The Festival Online High Roller (July 10), The Festival Online Texas High Roller Progressive PKO (July 17) and The Festival Online Texas 8-Max High Roller (July 24 and 31). Each of these tournaments has a buy-in of $525 and a guaranteed prize pool of $40,000.
