888’s live tournament series, “Super Stack” has recently announced that the Playground Poker Club in downtown Montreal will be the newest addition to the list of stops. The Super Stack Tournament Series has regular stops in the United Kingdom and Australia, but thanks to the newest stop, Canada will also be thrown into the mix. The Playground Poker Club is a popular venue for other live events and is sure to be a perfect host for the Super Stacks Series.Players wishing to enter for either the Day 1a-Friday April 6th-or Day 1b-Saturday April 7th must be aware that only 110 entrants will be allowed on Day 1a and a maximum of 150 entrants on Day 1b. The final table will be held on Sunday the 8th at noon, local time. The prizepool is rumored to be at least $15,000 which is enough to bring players in from all over. There are so many different ways to get into the Deep Stack events without breaking the bank too. Not only is the buy-in small, there are a number of satellite events happening all the time for you to take advantage of.When playing at 888 you will realize that they have hourly qualifying feeder tournaments that boast a buy-in of only $1+.35. Additionally, every Sunday there is a qualifier that has a buy-in of $38+$3 with 5 spots in the tournament guaranteed. If you don’t succeed at qualifying for the Super Stack on your first attempt, try again, because there are seemingly endless opportunities. Event coordinators are confident that the newly added Canadian venue will have a completely packed field, which means that the prizepool may be even larger.
